Although the other two candidates Corey Millhouse and Sonya Gladstone had strong positions during the Press Conference today, I believe that Jing Shi, the liberal candidate, had the most logical ideas that could be  carried out successfully in the future.  She was the only candidate that I thought covered everything from military spending to education well. Jing said that she would start by supporting public education. She said," We will provide our public school funding by raising taxes for the rich." Then she would start businesses that would specialize in alternative energy. These businesses would create many more jobs and better our environment. Jing also thinks we should cut military spending. Also, a big point that I got from the Press Conference was that the left wing stresses diversity and strong relations with other countries. This will make the world a more peaceful place and will make the US the place it aspires to be. I believe that Jing Shi would be a great candidate in the presidential elections and I hope that she and the Left wing stick by what they claim. PLEASE COMMENT, I WILL REPLY!!!! :)

Today at the press conference, many of the candidates spoke about improving education, both public and private. The right wing candidate Corey Millhouse wants to protect public schooling, however, he encourages the growth of private schooling as well. The moderate candidate Sonya Gladstone supports both education systems, but is zeroing in on guiding kids in general to make the country a better place to live. Lastly, the left wing candidate Jing Shi focuses on free, high-quality education from kindergarten to college and helping existing public schools by supporting funds. All of the candidates have good ideas about public and private education and it was great to see that they care so much about it.

While the rally groups were discussing their strategies, I interviewed Caitlyn Bridge and Amanda Carroll. Bridge and Carroll are environmentalists, and are the leaders of the Environmental Rally. I had asked them three questions:
1. Going green requires investment; how are you going to find money to fund alternative energy?
2. What happens to workers displaced by investing/developing alternative energy? How will you earn their support?
3. As an environmentalist, what other industries do you support?
For my first question, Bridge suggested the idea of fundraisers to pay for alternative energy. However, it will probably take much more than a few fundraisers to raise enough money for alternative energy. A possible solution would be to raise taxes on fossil fuels and use that money to pay to develop alternative cleaner fuels.
In response to my second question, Bridge planned to set a deadline for harmful companies in order to help these companies improve and become more environmental-friendly. Setting a deadline that would result in fines is an excellent way to motivate companies to clean up their operations.
Bridge and Carroll did not have any comments or responses for my third question.
To better support their positions, they could have said they support natural gas since it comes from North America and doesn't have to be shipped from the Middle East.
Overall, I think that Caitlyn Bridge and Amanda Carroll are on the right track to a successful rally.

Hi, all you voters out there who want to know what’s happening in the Perennial Pines elections. Today I interviewed a hardworking man named Frankie who worked in a textile company before it went out of business. He has been wandering through shelters and decided that no one should suffer the way he has. He says," The people that support our cause are fellow jobless citizens who seek a change".   Frankie thinks education is a strong factor in getting America back on its feet in terms of jobs. He also says that jobs should be more related with manufacturing and unskilled jobs which I don’t agree with. I think that getting everyone in America educated will allow for people to get good skilled jobs but for some people that are handicapped or cannot be educated for some reason should have the opportunity for an unskilled job. Overall, I think that Frankie and his rally team have a great basis and I hope the liberal candidate, Jing, supports them. PLEASE COMMENT!!!!!! :)
