Guest Post: Sophia Lawder-Gill

Today at the press conference, many of the candidates spoke about improving education, both public and private.The right wing candidate Corey Millhouse wants to protect public schooling, however, he encourages the growth of private schooling as well. The moderate candidate Sonya Gladstone supports both education systems, but is zeroing in on guiding kids in general to make the country a better place to live. Lastly, the left wing candidate Jing Shi focuses on free, high-quality education from kindergarten to college and helping existing public schools by supporting funds. All of the candidates have good ideas about public and private education and it was great to see that they care so much about it.
